Zurichhorn Park
Zurichhorn Park (Parkanlage Zurichhorn) - This is one of our favorite spots in Zurich with kids, a lovely green park along the lake, with a swimming area, really super playground, restaurants and snack bars, ice cream stands, acres of grass and shade trees, and lots of local families.
Buses from Bellevue Platz goes directly to Zurichhorn Park, about 1 km south of the Quaibrucke.
Strandbad Tiefenbrunnen - This lakeside swimming area has a tall waterslide, paddling pool for little kids, docks for swimmers, children's playground, green grass and benches, shaded snack bar, restrooms, and it's free and open to the public. It's the perfect place for kids to spend an afternoon on a summer's day. Tip: The Limmat boat stop is right next to the Zurich casino/restaurant.
Playground (Spielplatz) - Situated next to the Chinese Museum is a large, very nice playground with the biggest climbing wall we've seen, swings, slides, rings, sand and water play areas.
