Geneva
Geneva is a compact and very walkable city. The Rhone River divides the city's left and right banks, but the city is easily accessible with zippy trams that go everywhere and yellow ferries cruising back and forth across the lake.
Tip: Hotels provide a free Geneva Transport Card during your stay, good for all the trams, buses, and Mouette boats. Also, ask at your hotel for Plan de Reseau, a free map of all the lines. Tip: Strollers are okay on trams or boats.
