Nadine Patout Perfume Factory (Velleron) - Visit the Nadine Patout perfume manufactory, where you can whiff tons of different perfumes, match your personality (Boise, Vert, Fleuri, Fruite, etc.), then select which blend suits you best! Tip: A "must do" if you have teens along.

Oppede-le-Vieux - Oppede-le-Vieux has a wonderful old unrestored castle, where you can really see what life was like back then (17th century). Kids can scramble around the castle without signs or snooty old guards telling you to "stay on the path."

Fort de Buoux - The fortress at Buoux is an ancient ruin, with bits and pieces that date back more than 2000 years. You climb up the hill to the top where the fortress is strategically perched overlooking the valley below. Run around the crumbly rooms and peer into stone silos (hacked out of limestone) where they used to store stuff. Don't miss the secret staircase, stone steps that go all the way down the hill (pretty steep, but kids can do it).
