Point Reyes Station
Point Reyes Station is the town area where you'll find restaurants, grocery and artisan food stores, bakery, deli, cheese shop, bookstore, farmers market, bank, gas station, small playground. Gather together all your picnic supplies before heading out to explore Point Reyes National Seashore.
Point Reyes Station Farmers Market – On Saturdays, stop into the farmers market (next to Toby's Feed Barn) for fresh local produce, eggs, cheeses, jams, and bread. June to November, from 9am to 1pm.
Toby's Community Park (Mesa Rd.) – Little kids will have fun at this small park with climbing structures, toddler swings, and restrooms.
Point Reyes Books – This is one of our favorite bookstores, anywhere in the world! We always find such interesting books (where did we find An Ocean Garden book about seaweed or Illustrated Compendium of Amazing Animal Facts), along with guide books for Point Reyes. The excellent children's section with chairs to sit and read has both new and used books. Perfect place to spend some time on a foggy morning or rainy day, or a sunny day too.
