Travel for Kids has lots of fun things to do with kids on California Redwood Coast, whether it's hiking in the Redwood National and State Parks, exploring tide pools or flying kites on the beach, counting banana slugs, kayaking in lagoons, but you'll need a fun place to stay. Crescent City

Crescent City, in northern Redwood Coast, has miles of beaches, but is also convenient to redwoods 10 miles inland. Unless noted, houses are walking distance to beach and tide pools.
